Join Psychology Bridge

Psychology Bridge was founded by Dr Matthew Angell, an accredited MBT therapist. It gives accredited practitioners one place to run their private practice: bookings, records, notes and invoices. All sessions take place online, by video.

Why join

Founded by a clinician

Set up by Dr Matthew Angell, who trained in MBT at the Anna Freud Centre. Every practitioner’s registration is checked before their profile is shown to patients.

Your services, your hours

You set your own services, prices and working hours, and you decide whether you are taking on new patients.

Less admin

Booking confirmations and session reminders are emailed for you, with calendar invitations. Patients are emailed when an invoice is ready.

What the platform does for you

Everything you need to run your practice, in one place.

Appointment management

Easily schedule, reschedule, and manage appointments with an intuitive calendar interface.

Patient records

Securely store and access patient information and progress notes in one centralised location.

Session notes

Create, edit, and review detailed session notes, private to you.

Billing & invoices

Generate professional invoices and track their status with our integrated billing system.

Analytics dashboard

Gain insights into your practice with analytics on appointments and earnings.

Video sessions

Meet your patients online by video, in the browser, with a camera and microphone check before you join.

How joining works

  1. Apply

Create your practitioner account with your professional body and registration number.

  2. We check your registration

We check it against your professional body’s register, then email you our decision.

  3. Set up your practice

Add your services and prices, and your working hours.

  4. Patients can find you

Once you are approved and your profile is complete, patients can see it and request appointments.

Questions

How do you check practitioners?

When you apply, you give your professional body and registration number. We check them against that body’s register before your profile can be shown to patients, and we email you once your application has been reviewed.

Who can see my session notes?

Session notes are private by default: patients don’t see them.

What can patients do with their data?

Patients can download a copy of their data, or delete their account, from their settings.

What if I want to leave?

You can deactivate your account from your settings. Your upcoming sessions are then cancelled and each of your patients is told by email.
